[Note To Self]

Hello again! After a brief stint doing some contract work, I am fully back on the hunt for a job… again?

The contract work I did allowed me to breathe for a second, but I am still aware that the job market for my kind of work is still… well, trash. And that’s putting it mildly.

My best friend asked me if I’ve considered changing careers. I was trying to stave that off for as long as I could, but I don’t think that’s feasible anymore. I have said multiple times that I want to stay in tech. I don’t see how that’s possible… for now.

So what’s next? I don’t know. One of the big things that I learned during my time at the Iron Yard was how to learn. I also have great soft skills. Can I turn all that into another job? I am crazy enough to hope so.

For now, I am going to update my resume and think.
