Hello! My name is Shireen Garcia and I am an unemployed Customer Support Engineer.

I started this blog back in 2017 to document my time in the Full Stack Developer program at The Iron Yard in Las Vegas. After graduation, I got my first job in tech in 2018.

In 2024, I found myself laid off in the midst of THE WORST job market.

Still unemployed in 2025 and out of ideas… I decided to resurrect the old blog. Now? I’m documenting the search for a new job and the search for myself.
